What makes the difference
The majority of bridal shops buy in the dresses from large suppliers or manufacturers in the Far East. The dresses are usually ordered in standard sizes and then altered to fit individual brides. This is not ideal, as altering dresses to fit is never that easy and often unsuccessful, also the brides are often restricted from any customisation to the design. Rena Zhang offers a full bespoke service. Brides can choose from a collection of carefully selected Rena Zhang designs, or customize those in any way, or have something totally unique. Over the years, we have been listening to our clients and then working with them to create their dream dresses. We pride ourselves in providing the bride with exactly what she wants.
The experience
We aim at providing the special experience that every bride deserves. We operate on a 'by appointment' basis in order to provide a personal service to each client. The atmosphere in our luxurious boutique is very relaxed, informal and nothing pushy. It's always a pleasure to treat you with a glass of champagne when the big decision is made.
The process:
Design ideas - you can pick a design from our existing collection or you may have your own design references, a photo in a magazine or just have a picture in your head. We listen to your input and often add a few suggestions based on our professional knowledge and finally sketch out on paper to crystallise the idea.
Toile - depending on the complexity of the design, we can make a mock-up of the gown before cutting into the real fabrics. At this stage, we still accommodate changes in design where necessary.
Fittings - there is no limit to the number of fittings, you can have as many fittings as necessary to feel completely comfortable.
Storage - no matter if it's one wedding dress or 7 bridesmaids dresses, you can store them with us for free for as long as you wish; we will steam and check the dresses and ensure they look perfect before collection for the big day.
