How long does it take to make my dress?: For wedding dress, it takes us 6 to 8 weeks. (Yes its weeks not months). For evening dresses and occasion wear, it takes 4-6 weeks. On average, we only need one fitting to perfect the dress. However, you can have as many fittings as you wish to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your dress and will be comfortable wearing it for the special occasion. If you require a dress to be made urgently, it is still possible, there maybe a sub charge for express service depending on our work load.
How much do you charge for fitting?: As we are providing a made to measure service, we don't charge anything for fitting. Its our full responsibility to ensure the outfit is a perfect fit. The price we quote you is the final price, and there are no hidden charges.
How many fitting do you allow?: You can have as many fittings as you wish. As many clients order their dresses well in advance before the date of the special occasion, we are happy for you to have a final fitting even one or two months before the date to be reassured that the dress is still a perfect fit. All the fittings are free of charge.
Can I buy my own fabrics?: Yes. We have a great variety of fabrics and colours. However, if you prefer to buy your own fabrics, we can help you work out how much fabric is required and can make the outfit for you.
What if my bridesmaids live too far from your studio or unable to travel?: We have worked with many clients whose bridesmaids are abroad. We have a specially designed measurement form with detailed instruction and picture. Your bridesmaids can just ask someone to take the measurement and email us the form.
What if one of my bridesmaids is pregnant?: As it only takes us 6-8 weeks to make the dress. We recommend deciding on the design and colour of the dress first. We will provide you with a sample swatch of the fabrics, with which you can match the rest of the wedding planning. We can measure your bridesmaid nearer the wedding.
What if it does not fit?: As we are providing a made to measure service to our clients, we will take full responsibility if it does not fit.
Can I have a sample swatch in order to match the colour?: Yes. We provide all our clients with sample swatch, beading details or trimming on the outfit. This is free of charge and will enable you to find matching accessories.
What if I cannot match the cravat or waistcoat?: We can make cravats or waistcoats with the same fabrics as the bridesmaids dress in order to achieve the best matching.
How long in advance do you recommend me to order my dress?: It takes us 6-8 weeks to make your dress. We recommend you plan early. However, there is no reason to be panic if you don?t have the time. We are capable of working within short notice.
Can you make outfits for mother of the bride or guests?: Yes. We offer bespoke occasion wear and formal attire for both men and women.
